Abstract

The article is devoted to the experience of psychological support of Ukrainians in a refugee shelter, in particular, art techniques in the formation of the process of psychohygienic practices of the individual in difficult life situations. Characteristic features of Ukrainian refugees are defined, which are characterized by courage, responsibility and trust in the world. The psychological problems that arise in shelter residents are identified, in particular: emotional state (homesickness, anxiety, anger), violation of privacy (the need to communicate and interact with a large number of people), changed role (the need to obey the shelter management and follow the rules of internal schedule), lack of own space (forced living of the whole family in one room). The topic of the use of art therapy techniques in the asylum as an effective means of psychological support, which helps to create an individual architecture of psychohygienic practices. It is noted that art therapy is a branch of psychotherapy that uses art in the broadest sense for healing. Drawing, sculpting, and creating collages are brilliant means of integrating disparate parts of experiences, bodily sensations, emotions, and thoughts that arose in the process of living through traumatic events. The concept of psychohygiene as a set of routine self-care practices and training brain,that contribute to the formation and maintenance of healthy cognitive models of personal well-being. The structure of psychohygiene practice has been defined: 1) physical psychohygiene (adequate practices of sleep, nutrition, exercise, water procedures; 2) informational psychohygiene (self-restriction in the information space, conscious choice of content); 3) communicative psychohygiene (self-limitation in communication, both online and offline); 4) mental psychohygiene (regional or secular practices of prayer, meditation, visualization); 5) recreational psychohygiene (play activities, entertainment, musical and theatrical creativity, humor). Ethical aspects of aid are emphasized,for example, the implementation of biopsychosocial, trauma-sensitive and gender-sensitive approaches is proposed.
