Abstract

The monograph expands the understanding of political and legal consciousness as a psychological mechanism of regulatory and legal regulation of social relations. The factors of formation of political and legal consciousness of a person are described. The author conducts a socio-psychological analysis of the structure of political and legal consciousness of an individual, reveals the peculiarities of internal regulation of the formation of political and legal consciousness. The place and role of the civic position of an individual in the formation of his/her ideas about social relations are substantiated. The socio-psychological attitudes of young people to the institutions of power and the place of these attitudes in the formation of behavioural scenarios in solving political and legal problem situations are determined. The article is addressed to scientists, teachers of social psychology, postgraduate students, students, specialists in the field of law-making and law enforcement practice.
