Abstract

In 2023, the scientific, scientific and technical (experimental), scientific and organizational, expert and educational activities of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine were carried out in the second year of the full-scale war unleashed by the russian federation. It was aimed at systematic scientific and methodological support of education, implementation of the priorities of the state educational and scientific policy, enhancement of scientific potential in the field of education, pedagogy and psychology, strengthening its influence on the modernization of all levels of national education in order to bring the victory in the war closer, implement the post-war recovery of the country, and its European integration. The researchers of NAES of Ukraine continued their active work focused on systematic scientific and methodological support of education, psychological support for children and adults in difficult times for the country, implementation of the priorities of the state educational and scientific policy, solving urgent problems of modernization of the educational and scientific areas, innovation and validity, social and economic significance of the obtained results, as well as their wide practical implementation and use, and response to crisis challenges for Ukrainian society in general and education in particular. The report presents the results of the work of the Academy, its research institutions and university, teams of scholars, full members and corresponding members. The fulfilment of the statutory tasks of NAES of Ukraine and its development strategy, the work of the general meeting, methodological seminars and the Presidium of NAES of Ukraine are described, and the human resources potential of the institutions is revealed. The most significant scientific achievements of the Academy's scholars based on the results of fundamental and applied research are presented, with an indication of the social effect of implementation. The article comprehensively covers experimental, publishing, scientific and organizational, scientific and expert, educational, international, scientific and information activities, cooperation with public authorities and scientific organizations, presentation of scientific periodicals and publications of scientists in the world system of scientific communications, scientific and practical mass events, as well as financial support. For educators, researchers, managers, and all those who ensure the functioning and development of education, its scientific, methodological, expert, and advisory support, conduct research and experimental development in the fields of education, pedagogy, and psychology.
