Abstract

The workshop aims to strengthen the applied orientation of the school algebra course and show how algebra knowledge can be used in life, future profession or for studying other subjects. The problems are presented in groups of three. The first one is abstract and is the basis for solving the second problem is the basis for solving the second problem, which is applied. The third problem is also applied, usually closely related to the second and requires students to interpret or critically evaluate or critical evaluation.
