Abstract

The work`s program of the educational discipline "Professional competence of the head of an educational institution" is a discipline of free choice of the applicant of higher education of the NNIMP DZVO UMO. The purpose of teaching the discipline "Professional competence of the head of an educational institution" is to ensure the formation of a holistic model of a specialist - the head of an educational institution by acquiring methodological, general theoretical and organizational-technological knowledge and acquiring diagnostic-prognostic (modeling), organizational-regulatory and control-corrective skills that correspond basic management functions, as well as the development of general and professional competencies of future heads of educational institutions, the ability to resolve pedagogical conflicts, increase the level of their ethical interaction, the formation of positive orientation, empathy, reflection. The main tasks that must be solved in the process of teaching the discipline "Professional competence of the head of an educational institution" are: - formation of a system of theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary to perform the functional duties of the head of an educational institution; - mastering the system of theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary for the construction of the educational process taking into account the specifics of the professional competence of future specialists in relation to future professional activities; - formation of a system of theoretical knowledge and practical skills to build a model of professional and social activity of a specialist, as well as a model of a specialist's personality; - acquisition of skills related to pedagogical thinking, the ability to understand and analyze pedagogical reality; - formation of a responsible, creative attitude to managerial activity. Content of the discipline. General and professional competences of the head of the educational institution. Scientific foundations of the formation and development of the professional competence of the head of an educational institution. Basic and special professional competences of the head of the educational institution. Models of managerial competence of the head of the educational institution. Formation of professional competence of heads of educational institutions. Technological aspects of the implementation of managerial competence of the head of the educational institution. Management style. Leadership competence of the manager. Motivational principles of educational institution management. Professional portfolio of the head of an educational institution and promotion of oneself as a brand. Self-management: tips on managing your own resources. The length of the course is 90 hours, which corresponds to 3.0 ECTS credits. The form of final control is credit.
