Abstract

The current aspects of assessing the effectiveness and efficiency of the professional activities of the school leaders in different countries of the world are analyzed. The opinion is substantiated that the assessment of the professional activity of the head of a secondary school can be used as a method to determine the effectiveness of the existing mechanism for ensuring the quality of education in an educational institution.
