Abstract

Theses describe the introduction of physical concepts in the natural science courses "Learning about nature" and "Environment". In grades 5-6, students get acquainted with such concepts as: physical quantity, measurement, quantitative and qualitative feature, body, substance, process, phenomenon, interaction, relationships. Students are familiar with a fairly wide list of scientific terms and physical quantities.
