Abstract

The publication introduces the results of the study, which was initiated by the Department of Educational Leadership of the Institute of Postgraduate Education of the Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University in 2020-2021. The research aimed to track the attitude of educators to transformational changes in the educational sector and was an attempt to understand and generalize the impact of the educational reform in Ukraine on the working conditions of teachers. The study is based on the theoretical model of transformational changes of Yu.M. Shvalba, according to which the general attitude towards transformational changes is determined by the interaction of the following factors: 1) subjective freedom of the individual; 2) personal responsibility; 3) social security factor; 4) coercion factor; 5) transformational potential of the individual. The dynamics of individual factors depending on the category of educators and the length of their activity are shown. The impact of the most important factors of subject freedom, social security of teachers and their transformational potential is analyzed.
