The process of perception of speech by a communicator, which passes through two phases (actual perception and understanding), is described through the transition from the surface analysis to the deep. It is explained that in the process of communication there are various barriers (logical, linguistic, stylistic, phonetic), their features are determined. On the basis of the conceptual provisions of psycholinguistics, methodological questionnaires are defined that will contribute to the improvement of linguistic education in order to form a high level of communicative competence of the individual.
