Abstract

The features of the scientific-pedagogical system implemented in the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, which became one of the first domestic classical educational institutions, were analyzed. The progressiveness of the philosophical and pedagogical views of the academy's teachers and their role in the formation and popularization of advanced scientific ideas of the XVII-XVIII centuries are shown.
