Abstract

The results of the study of the psychological well-being of the population of Ukraine under martial law are presented, namely: the study of the level of satisfaction of Ukrainian citizens with their own lives as a basic criterion of psychological well-being and the determination of the index of psychological well-being and its components. It was established that the state of psychological well-being of the population along the "satisfaction-dissatisfaction with one's life" axis has certain age and regional characteristics that must be taken into account in the planning of state policy and the organization of measures for social and psychological support of the population and psychological rehabilitation. At the same time, high self-esteem of psychological well-being does not exclude the development of post-traumatic disorders. However, a person's personal experience of experiencing traumatic situations does not directly affect the level of traumatization and can become a pillar in mobilizing resources for post-traumatic growth.
