Abstract
The special course covers the substantive component of the topic; the types of students' independent work are indicated; recommendations on the organization of practical mastering of the content of the special course are presented; the technology of formation of key, namely, civic competences among the students of vocational education institutions is proposed. The special course is prepared for students of advanced training courses for management and teaching staff of vocational education at the Central Institute of Postgraduate Education of the University.
