Abstract

The article examines the psychological features of the construction of textbooks for primary school, and analyzes the psychological and pedagogical literature on this issue. The main requirements for a school textbook, including didactic, psychological and ergonomic requirements, are highlighted. Definitions of the concepts of "expertise" and "psychological-pedagogical expertise" are given, their features and purpose are revealed. Psychological and pedagogical requirements for modern textbooks have been defined.
