Abstract

The publication reviews and analyzes the most popular open access information and digital technologies as a means of supporting scientific and pedagogical research, with the help of which scientists, teachers, graduate students and doctoral students can search for scientific publications, journals, etc. The most promising free database is OpenAlex, which offers an open alternative to industry-standard scientific knowledge bases such as Scopus and WoS, and has significant advantages in terms of inclusiveness and accessibility. The implementation of information and digital technologies in the field of education and science provides an opportunity to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of scientific and pedagogical research, as well as the competitiveness of scientific institutions and institutions of higher education in innovative scientific activity.
