Abstract

The article, based on the study and analysis of scientific sources, highlights the role of an outstanding scientist, teacher, spiritual and public figure of the first half of the 20th century. Augustyn Voloshyn in the development of the system of general school education in Transcarpathia. The pedagogical legacy of A. Voloshyn is briefly presented, in particular, his Ukrainian-language physics textbook is analyzed. The experience of using historical and pedagogical research on the formation and development of physics didactics in Ukraine, including the creation of a modern methodical system of teaching physics, is outlined.
