Abstract

The article highlights the contribution of Erazm Korneliiovych Shpachynskyi to the formation of the methodology of physics as a pedagogical science. For 12 years, E. K. Shpachynskyi was the editor-publisher of the scientific and methodical journal "Bulletin of Research Physics and Elementary Mathematics". In the mid-1880s, thanks to the efforts of Erazm Korneliiovych, this magazine became a leading scientific and methodical publication that gathered leading physicist methodologists around it, and on its pages current problems of school physical education, directions for its reform, and methods of studying individual sections and topics of the course were highlighted high school physics and school physics experiment.
