Abstract

The article examines the issue of the development of the idea of humanitarianization as a leading trend in the transformation of the educational process in physics in a secondary school. The search for mechanisms for strengthening the humanitarian component of the school physics course in the history of domestic physics didactics is highlighted. The determining influence of the ideas of humanistic pedagogy of the outstanding Ukrainian scientist and teacher V.O. Sukhomlynskyi on the formation of the conceptual foundations of the system of modern school physical education is substantiated.
