Abstract

The research was devoted to the analysis of foreign approaches to the development of teachers’ professional competence in the context of innovative teaching. The factors inhibiting the improvement of teachers’ innovativeness in European countries were considered. Some recommendations regarding the effective implementation of pedagogical innovations in the educational process were analyzed. A conclusion was made about the possibility of further adaptation of foreign approaches and their application in domestic universities and colleges to improve the quality of professional training.
