Abstract

In the modern realities of Ukrainian society, it acquires special importance education for democracy. It was found that the purpose of civic education is formation and manifestations of civic activity, civic position and human responsibility. Based on the analysis of the formation process school civic education in Ukraine, characteristics of individual courses civic studies direction (the end of the 20th century – the first decades of the 21st century Art.) revealed the main trends and approaches to content selection and organization of the educational process. Emphasis is placed on the peculiarities of the technique training of citizenship education students.
