Abstract

The trends of changes in paper children's publications (books, reference and illustrative publications, periodicals) in the context of the development of modern information technologies are analyzed, namely: the integration of traditional paper media with the latest digital media. Features of children's books with audio accompaniment are revealed; new types of children's publications with augmented reality - AR technology; encyclopedias with interactive applications in 3D, 4D format, etc.; the positive influence of such publications on the development of imagination, creative abilities of younger schoolchildren, and positive reading motives is justified.
