Abstract

Scientific vision of modern historiography and scientific results of research on identity formation, mental dimension and social values and their evolution. Revealing the linguistic, cultural, religious, and historical roots of the identity of Ukrainians. Elucidation of its etymology and femenology. Analysis of the mental dimension in relation to the foreign policy orientations of the state. Elucidation of the importance of worldview and ideological foundations of Western civilization on the formation of social values. Revealing the peculiarities of the post-colonial syndrome in the global era.
