Abstract

The monograph is devoted to the implementation of the role-based approach in social psychology, within which the author develops a number of role-based concepts of personality. The book provides a comprehensive analysis of the category "role", in particular - the concept of "life role", examines the structure of role interaction, role development of the personality, life crises, offers a role model of the human life world, and introduces new role concepts. Within the framework of role concepts, complex regularities of human social behavior, creative processes are explained; a holistic conception of personality, his inner world, consciousness and unconsciousness is formed. The work has a practical focus, it explains the basics of psychopathology from a role-based approach, reveals the methods of role-based psychotherapy aimed at overcoming personality disharmonies, gives examples from the author's psychotherapeutic practice and works of art. For scientists and practitioners in the field of sociology, psychology, psychotherapy, scientific methodology and anyone interested in the role-based approach in social sciences.
