Abstract

The status of a teacher of Ukrainian language and literature against the background of the war is changing radically. It is about renewed educational goals, a high level of professional competence and prospects for the development of the personality of a teacher who is the bearer of universal values.A special responsibility rests with the lexicographer who works in a senior specialized school. We consider the process of learning native language and literature as research, understanding the need to develop research competence in students.
