Abstract

In order to guarantee the safety and protection of students, teachers and other educators, the international community has developed numerous guidelines, standards and tools that create the basis for the protection and continuity of education and the conditions of emergencies and military actions at all levels. It is the continuity of education that is decisive in deterring further violence and preventing any escalation of the crisis. Continuity of learning means providing education and other means whereby students have access to learning regardless of the interruption of the regular education system.
