Abstract

In 1982, the methodologists of the National Institute of Education of Singapore studied the experience of many countries of the world and created a method of mathematics that combined the most effective elements of the methods of other countries. Large amounts of money were allocated for its creation, teaching aids and methodical recommendations for teachers were concluded. In addition, there was constant monitoring of the learning process and educational achievements of students and, as a result, correction and improvement of the created methodology. The theses describe the peculiarities of this method of teaching mathematics.
