Abstract

The model curriculum "Natural Sciences" introduction to natural sciences in grades 5-6 implements the continuity between primary and basic education in the form of one subject - integrated course - and lays the foundation for further distributed study of natural subjects "Physics", "Chemistry",. "Biology", "Geography" in grades 7-9, united by one program "Natural Sciences". The integrative approach included in the program is aimed primarily at integrating content, but at further formation and development of key competencies: competencies in natural sciences, engineering and technology and environmental as leading for this course and development of other key competencies as integrative qualities of student personality. The program is developed on the basis of the State standard of basic secondary education and other domestic and international documents, which define the general approaches to education in the XXI century and the peculiarities of the study of natural sciences.
