Abstract
The activity of the head of the psychological service is conditioned and regulated by normative documents on the psychological service of the education system, requirements to coordinate and intensify the work of employees of the psychological service, to improve the system of advanced training, to provide them with qualified scientific and methodological assistance. Given that, the professional activity of the head of the psychological service can be defined as multifaceted: management, scientific and methodological, research, educational and as the activity of a practical psychologist. Thus, it is expedient to characterize it as the interaction of managerial, scientific-methodical and professional components.
