Abstract

The publication analyzes the experience of using the services of the Electronic Library of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine and determines that they can be used to assess the effectiveness of scientific and pedagogical research. Thus, the services of digital library systems of research institutions and universities act as an open source of data for scientometric platforms that can be used to assess the effectiveness of scientific and pedagogical research, evaluation of own and collective achievements, as well as to monitor research. The main indicators are the number of published and downloaded publications by author, department, institution, topic of scientific research, type of scientific products.
