Abstract

The strategic goals and tasks for the long term perspective in creating human potential and capital in Ukraine are grounded based on the analysis of the current role of education and science for sustainable human development in the context of innovative type of progress. It is argued that the national spheres of education and science under the global competition acquire objectively the key importance for the nature and effectiveness of social progress, economic growth, innovative person development. The goals, tasks and measures in the spheres of education and science which are important for human development ensuring are systematized.
