Abstract

Thesis of the Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Degree, specialty 13.00.10 – Information and communication technologies in education. – Institute of Information technology and learning tools at NAPS of Ukraine, Kyiv, 2012. The thesis is devoted to the problem of scientific and theoretical studies and model development of information and communication competence of philological specialty teachers in computer-based environment. The essence of the concepts of “information and communication competence of philological specialty teachers”, “computer-based environment.” The state and problems of information and communication competence of philological specialty teachers, the model of information and communication competence of philological specialty teachers in computer-based environment. The results of pedagogical experiment confirm the presented hypothesis which is on the basis of the conclusion. The author developed a model of information and communication competence of philological specialty teachers in computer-based environment which is an effective and important introduction to the process of philological specialty teachers’ training.
