Abstract

The article is dedicated to one of the main professional competences of the modern teacher – competence in information and communication technologies. The article provides an overview of the terminology used in foreign scientific literature for its definition. The analysis of the studies which highlight the essence and the content of the teacher’s competence in ICT has been conducted.
