Abstract

The results of the analysis of the conceptual apparatus of the content of the school course of biology, which is a system of interconnected concepts, laws, patterns, expressed by a system of terms. It is shown that the conceptual apparatus consists mainly of special and general biological concepts, the number of which depends on the content of the section of biology. Special biological concepts are meaningful units of a separate section of biology, and general biological are system-forming concepts and are considered as a generalized reflection of the essential properties of the objects of the surrounding world.
