Abstract

The specifics of professional interest of high school students in the study of physical and mathematical disciplines in the process of preparation for study at a technical university in the system of pre-university training are considered. The results of career guidance questionnaire among students of preparatory courses are outlined. Pre-university training is considered as a basis for further quality education of specialists at the Technical University. The factors that determine the low quality of physical and mathematical education of high school students in preparation for admission to universities are identified.
