Abstract

Examples of solving stereometric problems (course Geometry) for the construction of sections of polyhedra for students of preparatory courses of pre-university training are considered. The main methods of their solution are determined: the method of traces, the method of internal design and the combined method. The methods of solving problems are based on the axioms of stereometry and the basic theorems on the relative position of a line and a plane in space. The basic rules of construction of sections are outlined. Tasks for independent work are presented
