Abstract

The article highlights the introducing of modern technologies of media education in praxis of speech pathologists with the aim of optimization of correctional education. Special attention is given to the problem of formation and development of social and adaptive skills of the mentally retarded preschool children. The author suggests using new media-educational games based on modified media materials in special preschool establishments.
