Abstract

Historical consciousness is considered by the author in the context of competency-based learning as a special construct consisting of students' understanding of history, the set of images of the past created by them, the experience of research, ideas, feelings. The theses are consistent with the educational problems of interpretation of historical consciousness, emphasizes its multifaceted nature.
