Abstract

The generalized opinion of senior pupils concerning the current textbooks of biology, ecology for high school is given. The modern textbook is considered as a multifunctional system, which is focused on the inclusion of students in the information educational environment, solving problems of development of their cognitive abilities. The results of the research are presented, which were aimed not at the students' assessment of a certain biology textbook, but at clarifying their generalized opinion about the structural components of the textbook.
