Abstract

The monograph is devoted to the problem of improving the training of correctional teachers in university education. The paper summarizes and highlights the historical experience of higher educational institutions of Ukraine, where the training of special educators during the last century. The results of the activity of the scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Pedagogy and Correctional Education of Oles Honchar DNU on improving the content of professional training of future pedagogical workers of the special education system, formation of the necessary competencies in them are systematized. The publication is designed for researchers, teachers, graduate students.
