Abstract

The possibilities of a course of the choice of "Biological systems" (grades 10-11) in forming the competences of students are revealed in this article. For this purpose the leading role is given to several aspects such as an active component of the content, the increased share of procedural knowledge, the increased value and practical orientation of the course, the results of training by the components of the subject and key competencies.
