Abstract

The monograph describes the processes of individualization in school education in Ukraine, starting from the first years of independence, outlines ways to evolve the mechanisms of humanization and optimization of school education (1991–2010). Illuminated educational policy of the state in the field of introduction of personally oriented education. The contribution of Ukrainian psychologists to the deployment of an individual approach to teaching in primary and secondary education institutions is revealed; formation and development of psychological service at school as a tool for personification of the processes of education and upbringing of children; changes in the structure and activity of primary and secondary education institutions, in the education of national minorities, in textbook creation. The materials of the monograph will be useful for lectures and methodological work in the Defense Law Institute, the Ukrainian Air Defense Institutes, for the research of scholars, graduate students, future teachers and educational practitioners.
