Abstract

One of the important conditions for the effective operation of professional (vocational and technical) education institutions in the conditions of a decline in the prestige of working professions is the personal readiness of their leaders for management in general and marketing activities in the field of educational services, in particular. Among the personal traits of a modern leader, a special role is played by social creativity as the ability to act outside the norm, to make creative, innovative decisions in today's difficult conditions. Instead, the analysis of managerial practice and theoretical analysis of the literature gives reason to assume an insufficient level of development of social creativity for a significant part of managers. That is why the study of the social creativity of managers of professional (vocational and technical) education institutions as a component of their personal readiness for management is considered relevant. ​
