Abstract

In the article the general scientific and psychological-pedagogical content of the concept of "development" is revealed, analyzed various scientific views on determining the content and essence of the phenomenon "professional development high school teacher. " Based on the analysis of scientific sources, professionally important qualities are outlined specialist in professional and pedagogical activity as a result of his successful professional development.
