Abstract

Theoretical foundations of Australia's pedagogical staff professional development are disclosed; its structural and organizational conditions are defined; the content component is characterized, forms and methods of its realization are considered; the role of professional organizations in the professional development of Australian teachers has been analyzed. Based on a comparative analysis, the recommendations on providing professional development of teachers in Ukraine based on Australian experience were developed.
