Abstract
The monograph presents the results of a long-term comprehensive and systematic collective study of the problems of informatization of education and the practical implementation of information and communication technologies in the educational sector of Ukraine, carried out throughout the entire period of the sovereignty of the Ukrainian state and the most important innovative spheres of the education and science society responsible for human development in a modern globalized and rapidly progressing world. Among the most significant scientific achievements of the authors, the main directions and the development of the concept of informatization of Ukrainian education at a new stage in the country's development, since 1991, are substantiated. In the conditions of independence, globalization, and the rapid spread of the latest ICTs, the creation of a fundamental theory explaining the information and communication essence of education, the key role of information and communication in the formation of human competencies as an information product; scientific and methodological support of the organization, determination of the content, software and methodological support for the study of computer science as a subject and in the study of other subjects in institutions of general secondary and vocational (vocational) education; creation of a system for the widespread introduction of information and communication technologies in general secondary education with scientific and methodological support for its digitalization; substantiation of the norms of educational legislation and state programs for the development of education in terms of informatization in the period 1991-2018; introduction into the national educational and scientific practice of innovative institutional forms of informatization of education; the formation of a professional expert environment and the dissemination of innovative ideas and practices of informatization. The author's contribution to the development of scientific and methodological support for the training and professional development of computer science teachers and for its study in other subjects, in particular by distance learning, is shown; creation of new training systems and cloud-based educational environments, electronic educational resources, electronic scientific professional publications, textbooks and manuals for various levels of education. The publication contains a scientific forecast for further informatization of education, the use of information and communication technologies, as well as a wide author's bibliography. Designed for scientific, scientific and pedagogical, leading employees, doctoral students, graduate students and undergraduates who deal with the theoretical and practical problems of informatization of education, the introduction of information and communication technologies in educational practice.
