Abstract

The types and varieties of information resources are analyzed in the paper. Various approaches to the concept of "information resources" in the context of psychological and pedagogical research are considered. The specificity of information in pedagogy as a key factor in the development of an innovated system of psychological and pedagogical support for gifted children is analyzed. Theauthors highlight the need for psycho-pedagogical staff in information resources of a new type is substantiated. The basic properties of such information resources are outlined. The difference between psychological and pedagogical process with use of new generation information resources from old formations is substantiated. The use of information resources in education of other countries is analyzed.
