Abstract

The article deals with the indicators being the characteristics of the scientific school, as well as the features of the leader, the leader of the scientific school are determined. Some approaches to the definition of the concept "scientific school" are revealed, its role in the development of pedagogical science is determined. A short description of the academic school of Academician Ivan Zyazyun is presented, in its formal and informal dimensions as a pedagogical phenomenon, which has quantitative and qualitative features, the generality of the scientific thought of its representatives. It is shown that every society is constantly facing the dilemma: what to remember, and what to forget. Everything concerning the memory of the founder of the Institute of Pedagogical Education and Adult Education of NAPN of Ukraine - for us is not a dilemma - both conferences and the opening of the museum of the estate and the development of the Institute - all this is a testimony of our respect, love, eternal memory and gratitude. In the difficult times in which we live, the oases of wisdom and humanity do not allow people to dissolve in trifles, turn their hearts into the transient values of mankind, to the eternal aspiration for the perfection of the Soul. Everything done by Academician Zyazun in the field of pedagogical theory and practice awaits thoughtful study and thorough research. Ivan Andreevich showed his personal life, professional activity and scientific work that dreams are realized, and success comes to than person who is working hard, constantly helping others. "As he blames the ugly reality, he goes to the clarity due to the contradictions, doubts, objections, not separating from the dream of the triumph of beauty and harmony, that Ukraine will be truly independent, truly democratic, truly happy for all people, living in it, and all its homeless souls will be returned to our All-Ukrainian Council."
