Abstract
The article presents the features of using of the test technologies in the educational process in Ukrainian institutions of general secondary education. The forms of test tasks that are used in tests of the state final certification of students at the completion of grades 4, 9 and 11 of an external independent assessment of the learning outcomes, obtained on the basis of complete general secondary education and a nationwide monitoring study of the quality of primary education “The Formation of Reading and Mathematical Competencies of the primary school graduates” are analyzed. It was revealed that in the educational process in Ukrainian institutions of general secondary education, closed and open test tasks of various forms are used. Moreover, in the monitoring study, the majority of the tests are in open form. It is concluded that the task of the modern teacher of the institution of general secondary education is to use different forms of test tasks in their lessons in order to teach students to give answers to them.
