Abstract

In the process of teaching mathematics introduction of project and research activity contributes to the activation of research work of all participants of educational process, development of creative, cognitive, intellectual abilities of students. In the context of the activity approach, each project is considered as a result of activities focused on creative self-realization of the student, the development of its intellectual potential, spiritual, volitional qualities and creative abilities in the process of solving a particular interesting problem. In connection with the change of educational paradigm a priority role in the increase of efficiency of functioning of modern educational institutions belongs to the teacher, who is forced to update training content, approaches and pedagogical mentality in accordance with the new life trends. Highlights the main directions of development of methods of teaching mathematics in the context of modernization and standardization of the education system: formation and development of the key competences of the student in the educational process; practical application of the lesson as a means of formation and development of the student the appropriate way of thinking required for socialisation and full participation in society; the activity approach in education, modernization of methods and organizational forms of teaching mathematics to ensure the effectiveness of the educational process; modern scientific and methodological support of the teaching of mathematics; design and research of teaching methods as the basis of the pedagogy of cooperation of participants of educational process; pedagogically balanced use of information and communication technologies for learning curriculum content in mathematics; methods of formation of spiritual and intellectual development of the individual student in the learning process; specialized training of students. During the traditional lesson does not sufficiently ensured the active participation of each student in the educational process: the teacher independently plans and organizes the learning process, builds the individual trajectory of each student. At the same time, the student remains insufficiently active. Special attention in such circumstances should be paid to the formation of mathematical competences and the development of intellectual and creative thinking of the students.
