Abstract

Psychological rehabilitation is a complex of services aimed at providing psychological assistance to people with visual impairments in order to achieve the following goals: to restore (form) abilities that allow them to successfully perform various social roles (family, professional, community and others) and be able to be included in different areas of social relations and life, on the formation of socio-psychological competence for successful social adaptation and integration into society. Psychological services are: psychological counseling focused on the solution of socio-psychological tasks; psychological diagnostics; psychological correction; psychotherapeutic assistance; socio-psychological training; psychological prevention; psychological patronage. Who will be provided with psychological services: parents of children with visual impairment and blind children, young people with visual impairment (18+) and their families, adults with visual impairment by birth and their families, adults with visual impairment or vision loss in a particular ages and their families.
