Abstract

The development of the content of biological education in Ukraine, under the influence of standardization, the results of international monitoring studies on the quality of natural and mathematical education of Ukrainian schoolchildren, and the introduction of a competent approach are described. The results of the analysis of the biological component of the educational domain "Natural Science" in the State standards of basic and complete secondary education (2004 and 2011) are presented, the dynamics of the content elements in the curriculum on biology in the studied.
